KdG was commissioned by Caesars Entertainment to complete the planning and design to accommodate the additional gaming. The initial planning of the building expansion was considered in two different locations with the final solution being approximately 26,900 square feet of new building added onto the north end of the existing building. The project goal was to add 91 table games for a total of 2,200 total gaming units. This was successfully accomplished and included a renovation of the existing Center Bar, the addition of a new Poker Bar and Poker Room, the reconfiguration of the existing slot floor, and additional back-of-house support areas. A new wool Axminster carpet is designed to update the gaming floor and provide guest direction utilizing pathways leading to significant destination areas on the casino floor. The carpet is a completely new design, a modern interpretation of the brand, which incorporates the property logos into the design motif.
