KdG assisted the City of Warson Woods in revitalizing the aging infrastructure of its major city amenity, Royal Oaks Park. The primary project scope included re-envisioning their tennis courts, improving site drainage, and adding a pavilion for residents to enjoy both private and community sponsored events. The new restroom facilities are complete with baby changing stations and easy to access and use plumbing fixtures. Through community engagement, the integration of a dual-sided, fireplace, and grill was developed. The stone-clad exterior of this signature element creates a focal point for the pavilion. Security and safety needs led to a complement of paved pathways, fencing, and site lighting. In total, the new project elements represent an exciting vision for the future of the City of Warson Woods, and our relationship with them has continued to other projects as they implement multiple capital improvements across their city. KdG also assisted the City of Warson Woods in applying for and obtaining grant funding to help pay for the renovation project.
