KdG worked on a design/build renovation and expansion project for Monsanto AG Cotton Breeding Facility, which included the renovation of 50,000 sq. ft. of office/laboratory space, and a new 30,000 sq. ft. Maintenance Complex. Renovations also included a parking lot and site improvements. KdG provided architectural and engineering design services to develop and construct a Breeding Research and Learning Center Facility, which consists of 3 new buildings responding to Monsanto’s burgeoning agribusiness needs. The total new area of 42,000 sq. ft. includes offices, both clean and dirty research laboratory space, conference rooms and meeting spaces, and equipment storage areas. KdG developed the LEED evaluation analysis to achieve certification through the USGBC. The KdG Team in collaboration with Monsanto and their commitment to sustainable agriculture successfully achieved USGBC LEED Certification for their new office building in Remington, Indiana. The 6,000 sq. ft. facility serves Monsanto’s Dekalb Genetics Corporation complex.
