KdG has provided The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Company with expeditious architectural construction documents for five new store locations all located in California.  The architectural services included the onsite survey of the lease space documenting existing conditions, test fit floor plan layouts of the prototypical store, code studies, architectural drawings, coordination of all necessary engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural), as well as the coordination of the Owner’s equipment for a complete permitable set of construction documents. The timeframe for construction documents being of key importance for this phase of work, KdG is committed to completing documents, with the appropriate Owner review time, in eight weeks. Additional services also include submittal of all documents to the local authorities having jurisdiction, responding to all questions and comments by the reviewing authority, and addressing any construction-related issues from the contractors throughout the build-out of the space.
