KdG is seeking candidates for the position of Civil Engineer. Candidate must be a certified EIT, with 4 -5 years of experience in Civil/Site Development. A background in Sanitary/Storm Water design is also preferred.
Job Requirements:
- 4 – 5 years of experience in civil/site development, including: sanitary sewers, storm water, site planning, grading, utilities, permitting, and/or civil works.
- Certified EIT working toward professional registration with ability to obtain Missouri PE license within 1 year.
- BS in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, exceptional abilities to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Team player, self-starter, results-oriented personality.

Interior Designer
KdG is seeking a qualified degreed and NCIDQ Certified, Interior Designer local to the St. Louis region, to join our creative team.
The Interior Designer will work closely with Firm Principals and Project Managers to provide design development, production support, and coordination throughout the project delivery process as a member of the design team.
Responsibilities:
- Development of technical/design solutions.
- Selection and research of project design materials, furnishings, and equipment.
- Preparation of elements of project schematic/conceptual designs including: programmatic space plans, floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, floor finish plans, and dimensional sketches required to convey design intent for in-house and client review.
- Render conceptual design ideas and prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
- Preparation of presentation boards and materials either physical or electronic using Photoshop.
- Selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
- Preparation of working drawing contract documents, plans, details, schedules, technical specifications, FF&E specifications using Revit, BSD, Excel, and other related software.
- Coordinate document requirements with design team and corresponding plan and drawings.
- Ability to attend on-site visits and field reviews and provide direction to outside contractors and vendors if necessary.
- 10-15 years of experience working in commercial Interior Design, preferably with hospitality experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited university.
- NCIDQ Certification.
- Experience in developing time management and organizational skills required to undertake multiple projects or facets of various projects; multi-tasking.
- Deadline-oriented personality.
- Experience liaising with both internal and external contacts to exchange information on architectural/interior design materials and methods; professional skills interacting with clients and design team members.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to travel.
- Assists management with verification of site details to support design.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Master Collection CS5, Microsoft PowerPoint Graphics, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.), and BSD Speclink.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
